NBA League Pass VPN – The basics
In order to bypass these blackouts and gain access to live games, you’ll need to use a VPN. A VPN allows you to change your IP address by connecting to a VPN server in a country or state where blackouts are not enforced. Connect to any server located outside the blackout region and you’ll be able to watch any game live.
With NBA League Pass, you can watch your favorite teams and players from anywhere in the world. Unfortunately, some games may be blacked out if you’re located in a certain region. This is where an NBA League Pass VPN comes in handy.
A VPN will unblock live games that are blacked out in your region, allowing you to access them no matter where you are. A VPN will also let you stream on-demand content from NBA TV, giving you an even bigger selection of games to choose from.
In addition to unblocking live games and streaming on-demand content, using a VPN with NBA League Pass will encrypt your traffic, protecting it from hackers and government surveillance. It will also hide your real IP address, making it difficult for third parties to track your online activity.
Unfortunately, without a VPN, you can’t stream games in countries or states where cable TV providers own the broadcasting rights. They utilize Blackouts to prevent the online streaming of NBA games.
If you try to watch live games in a blackout region you’ll get an error message similar to the one below:
Additionally, you have blackouts for all nationally broadcasted games on ESPN, abc, TNT, and NBA TV. You’ll get an error similar to this:
Once you visit the NBA League Pass app or website, they check your IP address and determine your physical location. If you happen to be in one of the blackout regions, you’ll get the above errors.
By using a VPN with NBA League Pass, not only will you have access to live games that may otherwise be blocked from view due to location restrictions but you’ll also have peace of mind knowing that your information is secure and private.
How to Get The Cheapest NBA League Pass Subscription?
The cheapest country where you can get NBA League Pass is India. It will cost you $13.63 total for the full regular season and playoffs coverage. Simply, connect to a VPN server located in India, then sign up for a League Pass account and save a lot of money.
NOTE: If you get the international League Pass subscription, you’ll need to connect to a VPN server in that specific country for every game you wish to stream. For example, if you get NBA League Pass India, you’ll need to have your VPN on and connected to an Indian server to bypass blackouts every game.
As we previously mentioned, there are 2 types of League Pass subscriptions, US or International. we always recommend getting the international sub because it allows you to watch all regular season and playoff games live without any blackouts. On the other hand, with a US account, you can only watch regular-season games and even those are subjected to blackout restrictions.
That’s not the only incentive to get an NBA League Pass International subscription, you can also save some money if you pick the right country.
Check the table below for the full list of NBA League Pass prices by country:
If you have a US League Pass subscription you need to connect to a server outside your home team city. Example: If you live in Los Angeles or Phoenix and want to watch the Lakers x Suns game, connect to a VPN server in a different city like Miami.
If you have an International League Pass, connecting to any server outside the US and Canada will work for any game.

NBA League Pass vs. NBA TV
If you’re a basketball fan, you might be wondering which is the best way to stay up-to-date with all the NBA games. The two most popular options are NBA League Pass and NBA TV. And while both options offer a great way to experience the NBA, there are a few key differences that set them apart.
Firstly, NBA League Pass is a subscription-based service that allows you to watch every single NBA game, live or on-demand, throughout the entire season. This is perfect for die-hard basketball fans who want to catch every game, no matter where they are in the world. With NBA League Pass, you can also watch games on multiple devices, including your phone, tablet, or smart TV.
On the other hand, NBA TV is a cable TV channel that airs a limited number of games each week. While NBA TV is a great option for those who don’t want to shell out for a full subscription, it does mean that you’ll miss out on some games. However, NBA TV does offer exclusive content, such as analysis and interviews with NBA players and coaches.
Ultimately, the choice between NBA League Pass and NBA TV comes down to how much you love basketball and how much time you have to watch games. If you’re a die-hard fan and want to catch every game, NBA League Pass is the way to go. But if you’re more casual and don’t mind missing a few games, NBA TV is a great option that won’t break the bank.
In summary, a VPN is the best way to stream NBA League Pass. It will allow you to unblock live games that are blacked out in your region, as well as stream on-demand content from NBA TV.
With any of these recommended providers, you can enjoy unrestricted access to all the games on your favorite team’s schedule this season!
SEE ALSO: BEST MLB TV VPN (BLACKOUT WORKAROUND)
This is all I lie, none of these VPN till allow you to watch League Pass. The NBA has out in place a new geo location tool which blocks all VPN Addresses. This information is outdated.
It’s actually very common for issues to arise at the start of every season, it happens with NFL Game Pass and MLB TV as well. However these VPNs are quick to respond and adjust. it’ll get fixed very soon.
this is the first time in 3 years that the NBA has geoblocked people
for two weeks, almost no VPNs worked. a few worked yesterday. None work anymore. I guess I’ll keep waiting, but yeah this information is outdated
NordVPN support is on it, I’m sure they’ll have the issues resolved very soon. ExpressVPN, PIA, and CyberGhost as well.
Blackouts made sense when local basic tv channels carried the games. But not when games got moved to cable network channels especially when the providers like Dish and Direct TV drop certain sports channels when they choose. Now we are moving to a primarily streaming era anyways. I’d like to just use the NBA app and watch my local team on there without going through this VPN or random sites to find games!!!!
Unfortunately, I don’t think blackouts are going to change any time soon. As long as the NBA has those hefty TV deals, they will always look to protect the cable network’s bottom line at the expense of fans that just want to stream the games without much of a hassle.
